Foggy

My world used to really be foggy. I had horrible cataracts and couldn’t see crap. Everything was brown and yellow and hazy. I couldn’t see people unless they were about a foot away. And even then, they were blurry mess. I couldn’t see anything out of my right eye. In my left eye, I had double and sometimes triple vision. I couldn’t read. I couldn’t drive. I couldn’t see the TV. I couldn’t do anything. It was a mess.

One day I decided that I’d had enough. So, I went to see if something could be done about my horrible vision. A week later, I went in and had my right eye done. They gave me drugs that put me in lala land and put all kinds of drops into my eye. They lasered the cataracts out and inserted a toric lens into my eye. A week later, they did the same thing to my left eye. Now, I can see fine. I don’t even need glasses anymore.

Thank you Dr. Hoffman and modern medicine.
